Sites #1 - 6 Closed Wednesdays at 10:00 am, reopens Thursday at 10:00 am

Site #22 (Group Site) does NOT close on Wednesdays

  • 6 Single Sites #'s 1-6 with a fire ring and concrete table at each spot located in the grassy/shaded area across from the Park.
  • 1 Group Site #22 with a fire ring & picnic table located above the gravel parking area.
  • Camping allowed in numbered sites only
  • Available on a first come first serve bases at $10 a night for single sites #1-6 & $20 a night for the group site #22  
  • We do take reservations to rent campsite #'s 1-6 single sites for $60 a night.  Group site #22 is NOT included in the full campground reservation. 
  • You can submit reservation requests below for the 6 single spots &/or the group site #22.
  • We will accept reservation up to 6 months in advanced
  • Check-in 3pm & Check-out is 12pm
  • A vault toilet is available year-round
  • Potable water is available during warming months (we shut it down during winter to avoid freezing)
  • No trailers or RVs over 27' long in the single campsite's #1-6
  • 1 vehicle per single campsite's # 1-6
  • 2 tents or 1 trailer or 1 pick-up per single campsite's # 1-6
  • Large Trailers & multiple vehicles are allowed in Group Site #22
  • Pets allowed on a leash (Please clean up after your pet)

Reservation Details:

The reservation Calendar is above, the first calendar shows reservations for both the Campground & the Day-use park.  The second calendar shows reservations for the Group Site #22.

Reservations for the Campground are for all the single campsites  #1 - 6.  If you wish to use a single site, camping will be on a first come first serve basis.

 When you are looking at the calendar, you will see the blue highlights that indicate "busy" or "campground", the full campground is reserved for those dates.  Look for open dates on the calendar & after you have chosen your dates complete the form above with the date desired & your contact information. 

Once your reservation is received, you will receive a return email with a confirmation of your reservation or a notification that the date requested is no longer available. Reservation requests will be checked as time permits.  You should expect a response within 72 hours of your request.

Cancellations due happen from time to time, we understand that everyone has their lives to live. Please make all cancellations by email ASAP.  We have plenty of guests that would be glad to have your reservation dates. 

You are permitted to occupy the grounds of the Campground & Day Use Park only; the rest of the facility is restricted, except for the Visitors Center, to speak to Camp Host, Dam personnel and/or during an emergency.

Refund Policy:

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 7 days before check-in
  • If Guest cancel more than 7 days before check-in, they will receive a refund of the nightly fee.  Any payment processing fees will not be refunded.

Disclaimer

Owyhee Irrigation District has the right to remove scheduled reservations from the calendar when necessary. There may be times when the district will need the day-use area or campground due to unforeseen maintenance or an emergency on the compound or at the Dam.  The District will notify the guest as soon as feasibly possible, but we can not guarantee a length of time of notice.
